aii guys
Currently with the wade 1636 (mild as) it has gotten me a 14.4 with 3.27 gears. ok now i have 3.45 gears and she defently has more kick, so say 14.2 @ BEST with the 3.45's,

there has to be another cam for the N/A i6 six that doesnt need a new computer or dialing in or chip to run proply, that has more power then wade's 1636 profile, does any one know ? i wanna bust alteast 13.9 without taking out interior etc

- Grechie

EDIT: ok just by lookin RPD' my best bets a R3 to run on a stock computer....btw im not interested in JMM's cam's

Go to Fordforums and speak to OED666, it takes alot of work to get into the 13's in a 6cyl Falcon, 3.45 diff ratios WILL NOT cut it, he has a custom ground cam and 4.11 Diff ratios, AU motor etc and ran a 13.88

To take the next step you really are going to need to upgrade the springs, computer, and diff gears.

The 1636 is such a good all round cam and its working so well for you i would just leave it in. Bigger cams are faster on the track, but you loose some low end, get a grumpy idle, screw the computer up, etc.

I would test the 3.45's on track just to see if you get better times for certain.

There's a fair bit of difference between a 14.4 and a 13.9.
I would say engine management next, then you'll be able to open up your cam choices a lot.

Grechie,

what 60' are you getting. Getting down to a 1.9x 60' will help bring the time down considerably.

Just a quick note, you're aiming for arround 98-100mph to get into the 13's

What gear were you crossing the line in with the 3.27s?

Grechie..your pulling 96 odd mph down the 1/4. Get 3.9 or 4.11 diff gears my friend. Your car has the pull to run a flat 14 as is. Your et will drop and so will your mph because you will be getting there quicker

i was thinking the same. could require another gearshift which would potentially slow you down. considering you crossed the line at 154km/h i think (if you are manual) you'd be into 4th anyway or really peaking 3rd.

also with the shorter diff traction would be reduced albeit ever so slightly as 3.27 -> 3.45 is not a huge jump.
