Hey all need help with a problem i've got.
The boot & fuel cap release aren't working, but i can still open them manually.
To add to this i can't lock my car because the alarm thinks the boot is still open when its not. This happened after a camper van was attached to it (not sure if that means anything.) It still drives but now when i indicate the hazards come on and the alarm siren beeps faintly with the flashing of the indicators.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

The alarm MAY have had too much load on the indicators and has not reset the 'diodes' for the hazards.

check all fuses, disconnect battery, check trailer plug harness (or even disconnect it from the RHS rear wheel well) and give it a whirl.

I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and nothings changed. Do i need to do it for longer and where is the sensor to tell when the boots closed?

Its an EL Fairmont.
Checked the fuses for a second time and found that fuse No 7 Door lock fuse has blown. Missed it first time, i am an idiot. Its a 30A fuse and have replaced it with a 25A fuse for now.
The boot release now works and i can lock my car, but the alarm no longer works. It doesn't beep and the indicators just stay on. I've disconnected the battery and will have another crack at it tomorrow.
