Hi there, I bought a BA 02 xls falcon ute about 6 months ago and after many many hours of driving have decided that it needs more power, Im new to the modding scene and was just wondering where the best place to start would be, keeping in mind im only on apprentice wages ha, Obviously im starting with a full exhaust system, but where from there? Turbo's being out of my price range for the moment... Cheers J L

Power: 237 rwkw

K&N filter
F6 lower airbox with the 2nd intake
Pacemaker extractors, high flow cat, 2.5" exhaust
shifkits.com.au shifkit
3.9 diff gears with a limited slip centre

And thats as far as I'd go, plenty of fun for a p-plater.

steady pretty much nailed it.

what kind of money do you have to spare?

K&N filter= $80-$90
catback exhaust=$300-$350
hi flo cat=$ (280??) unsure
pacemakers= (IIRC) ~$400

Thanks thats a lot of help, now i just need to source the parts, Im looking at spending about $1000 to 1400 on the exhaust and then just buy everything else as i get the dough. Wont be needing the shift kit as its a manual.

you should be able to fit exhaust that will be up to the job and extractors for 800 tops! not including cat but i don't think you'll get any real gains from a hi flow cat - not without more engine mods.
