$1500??? Mate, you should be able to get more than that. How many kays are on it? If she's not a 300, 000 km + motor, I'm thinkin more along the lines of $2500 - $3000.
If your heaps keen on the Fairlane, get it. You only live once. Personally, if I was you, I'd hunt down an EB or ED XR6. I reckon (in the long term) you'd be happier with that. But it's your call. Just don't buy anything with a badge with a lion playing basketball and you should be right |

ooo no im stayin away from them holdens, wat i would like to do is keep the falcon and buy the fairlane then i can have my luxury and still have fun in the manual when i need a fix but it all depends on the bank if theyll gimmie a loan hopefully they do we'll see wat happens

You'll get about 2grand for that EA, but only if someone really wants the car, otherwise less. An associate just flogged of his EF for 4k, but that was only cause someone wanted it then and there, he was happy to sell it for 2.5k at auction (it was in the auction yard for over night, and back home sold the next) and it wasnt a bad car either...
