hey guys ive sold the fairlane an now have an eb s pac and a 30th anniversery ea
now the eb multi point is manual with sports exhaust and lowered but the body is rather ordinary..... well very ordinay. on the other hand the ea is dead straight but is stock 3.9 cpi duel fuel auto what does evereyone think is easier fix the eb body and change interior (includes cutting quarter panels out and straightening roof) or put motor, gearbox, springs..... into the ea im sure i have to change looms and ecu ect ect is it only the engine loom? and how hard is this im not bad with electronics but not great. cheers |

A series of major body repairs is the harder of the two, properly that is. Then again, you can have it any colour you like though.

repsray is down the track on either ea is white and the eb is green with a maroon bonnet

both sound like major jobs
are you more skilled at mech or body repairs? if it was me i'd respray the ea and do the swap at the same time all the eb stuff will swap over but make sure you do all of the conversion ie fuel pump/loom/wiring/ecu etc you could also upgrade to a bourdband manifold (ef/l style) while you have the motor etc out |

yea i know lol i know a little about body repairs a lot better with mechanicals and wiring ive already done a manual conversion on my old eb.
respray will be later on same as bbm because im only a 1st yr apprentice baker and get peanuts and need a car on the road but would like a manual thats nice and clean wich loom is it i have to replace is it uplug one plug in another or whole car needs rewiring? |
