hi guys,
i can tell by the numerous sounds and clunks (and smells) that my clutch is not long for this world. and my 18th birthday is coming up soon, so i was thinking about getting my olds to dish out for a new clutch for me. So, i just want your guys opinions on some of the high performance clutches going round. i like a nice heavy clutch too. any (good) comments would be appreciated. cheers fellas

if your car is putting out a decent number then id be looking at an exedy heavy duty or else a pbr heavy duty (but personally id much prefer the exedy)

Get a stock XR PBR clutch they're great!
Unless you want extra pressure on your firewall go for it. Heavy clutch? slap a strong spring on the pedalbox!

Be careful with heavy clutches as they tend to stress the already weak pedal box and firewall.
IMHO extreme clutches are very good performance clutches that have only a slightly heavier pedal. The organic plates are good for street engines with a fair bit of grunt and if you plan to give it a really hard time you can get a ceramic cushion plate which will take anything you can throw at it.
