Hi Guys
Just installed a new pod filter in my au and have already found difference in the acceleration on take off. What I want to know is that from memory the pod filter spins the air making it more condenced. I want to know if i need to change the air fuel sensor. If it does need to be changed who sells them and roughly what am i looking at price wise. Thoughts!!!

no you shouldnt have to change the fuel sensor. its not a big enoughf increase in air. pods actully do next to nothing and cant really be felt. your cars computer will determen the air to fuel mixture itself and will adapt to small changes like this. cheers

Yeh your probably better off with a panel filter, but if you want nicer induction noise then go with the pod

Yeah, Pod filters are not that great, They tend to get to much hot air ... unless installed right say in a box or something ..
also, what pod filter are you running? and is it just sitting in the engine bay? |

Am i right by saying that pod filters are illegal unless they are enclosed in something (say like an air box)

Hmm yeh i got told that the pod swirls the air and condenses it more. For the moment it is just sitting in the engine bay but am gona get it sitting inside the front left wheel guard.

Want to be sure it doesnt get soaked in the rain, or clogged with dust, mud. They dont swirl the air, or condense it either, whoever told you that, is a bull s**t. |

Wrap the pod in neons that should help with performance
