Just upgraded from an EF to a BF with Egas. I always serviced the EF myself and wish to do the same to my BF.
It is to my understanding that the new motors have iridium spark plugs. After how many km's do they need to be replaced? |

Thanks for the quick reply.
I've never bought iridium spark plugs before. What brand do you recommend? |

i would just go with the factory ford iridiums around $5-6 each from memory..
or ngk iridiums are around $22 each... i dont see any advantage paying 4x the price for ngks |

If you want the coils to live, replace the plugs every 50 000km, other wise you'll be up for coils every 100 000km-120 000km.

thats a good point,
the few ive seen thats had the plugs changed after 100'000kms has needed the coils replaced within a month or so of changing the plugs... |
