hey all just ordered my new throttle body for ebay just wondering being a bigger diameter will it ifect my idle range.if so does all after market products do this

mine revved a bit higher with the bigger throttle body, I have mine sitting at 900-950rpm.

does it really matter if it idle a bit high or shoul u ajust it and since u fitted it how were the gains?

If your car is an auto, its not very good for it if its idling too high because it will heat the trans up more when your stopped and in Drive. My screw isn't even touching the actual throttle body adjustment, so 900-950rpm is the lowest it will rev. I did notice an improvement up in the high rev range and it seemed to rev up quicker and smoother.

Just adjust your idle screw if it does in fact idle higher.
If you run out of screw, then your s**t out of luck. |
