Hey all, just bought a set of these plugs for my XR6 and i was wondering what kind of difference they made to people who have already tried them on thier 6's.

I plan on changing them tommorrow, i spent about $100 on these baby's so im a bit sceptical.. :?

So are they good, bad or ugly! :D

Cheers peoples :P

XR, sorry to kill you here.....

BA XR6T Iridiums are the way to go, much cheaper and lil tiny bit better :)

I got mine for under $60 and noticed a 4kw gain (hot run) on mine, also on mels xr6 too recently.

part # sk20r11 (ngk)

:P

Andrew, apparantley they're good for 100,000km compared with 20,000km for your average copper plug. So whack em in and forget about em for a while!! Horsepower can be pursued by other methods...

I trust you got the LPG heat rating?

I put same plugs in my EL Wagon 2 weeks ago along with new set of leads. It has made a difference to performance BUT not that outstanding. Plus the plugs only cost me about $40, are there different grades?? Even the leads only cost $60 - 8mm top gun. They were recommended for good performance, see how ya go.

Yeah i told the guy who ordered them for me the car was duel fuel. Lol well the plugs need changing as ive got no idea when they were changed last.

Im asuming once ive done this then the car might idle a bit nicer on gas. :?

LOL crap!!! The only problem with that is if you can get them to suit a duel fuel setup? LOL i remember last time you helped me out b4 with the exhaust system and saved me like $200+ but ive already bought the plugs so i will chuck em in tommorrow and see what happens. :)

If the car blows up then i will put the other plugs back in and say it wasnt my fault lol!

Thanks i will see what happens. Your sure they are cheaper than the normal NGK iridiums? :?

I ran some personal test on my AU ford and the NGK iridium plugs made my car slower than standard.

I once had denso ford iridium plugs for the au 2 and the car felt like it flew.Went much faster.
