I have a stock ef falcon.
What would I have to get done to get a decent rumbling noise out of it at idle? (I owned an XD falcon years ago and miss the sound) Would I have to only get a sports exhaust etc? Don't wanna spend too much though. |

extractors exhaust and a nice lumpy cam will give you a sweet note.

i've got exhaust (with resenator removed) extractors and stg2 cam - for that, i couldn't see why you wouldn't be happy with the idle it has! i'm still trying to get it just right, but at the moment, its still pretty good - runs smooth enough, and has just enough there to let you know it aint quite stock...

LOL! the only mod i have done to my XR was remove the resonator. That and LPG = very very lumpy idle, sounds very V8sih if thats possible for a six
Even on Petty it still sound pretty good but the LPG idles lower so it sounds way better.
