As I said, it can take a few days to pump up some times.

ok is it ok to drive arround like that?

by the way i found all of them where stuffed. i have replaced them all now

I also compleatly dissasembled the rockers and cleaned each piece and made sure the galeries where clear. so as it stands it is clear.

one of my friends said it is not nessarily a tappet. he said it could be a valve stuck open or even a hole in a piston.

while typing this post one of them stopped by the way.

it does not sound as bad now but it is still noticable.

If it was a valve stuck open there would be more than a tap. As for the hole in the piston, there would be smoke pouring out the exhaust. They willm clear up. Driving around won't hurt. Just don't thrash it :D

Thanks mate, drove it around a bit tonight, the noise went away at idle but can still be heard when taking off at the lights and such. It did come back again but it is not as bad as it was before. I will drive it around as much as I can now so it can go quiet.

I may take it on the highway to give it a good run.

See how it goes

Thanks everyone, this noise seems to have gone away for the most part, it is still there on startup and cold start but i am guessing it will go away soon enough. it doesnt make noise after startup or while driving anymore. also i have reset the ECU too while so it will re learn the idle possition. have run a diagnostic on the climate control and everything bar an error code on the computer (details in my other thread) is running fine.
