Came home from work tonight and went to pull up the handbrake and its like its stuck. I could probably pull it up if i used a lot of force but dont want to as incase it gets stuck up. Any ideas what it could be?

thats not good. check your handbrake cable all the way from the handle to the rear shoes. something must be stuck along there

My cable has snapped in the cabin and you cant pull the handbrake up, it's stuck against the dash (realeased position). Probably the same thing :P.

You'll probably find the cable birdcaged around the pulley that runs the cable through the floor.
Easy enough to change this cable if need be.
