Hi all now that winters here and its F**k cold permanently I find my self wanting to use my heater more. But is F**k....
The fairmont sat dorment for about three months straight and since then I dont have any form of heating. I've checked fuses and I've checked all my vents but still no heat. I was wondering if it would be my heater tap? Now excuse my ignorane but how would I go about checking to see weather its the culprit or not? I've got no idea what a heater tap looks like or how it works. Any other ideas as to what it might be?? Its got me f**k as to how it just stopped working all of a sudden... Thanks in advance guys. Cheers, Nathan[/u] |

Fairmont with climate control? More than likely its the blend door servo. If E2 comes up on a reset its the servo.

well buy a gregories manual for it then,,read it and learn,,no point in asking a question when you don't understand the answer.

It's all a matter of how the answer is put across. I'm no f'k tard, but I'm not 100% sure what he emant either. I'm guessing we're looking at a fault code somewhere here?

I was wondering if it would be my heater tap? Possibly, but run the self test as mentioned - the battery would've discharged somewhat, and the climate control may lose some settings - self test will restore that.Waggin wrote: Exactly, read this through - doesn't matter if you don't understand it all, it's all part of learning.
Self education is the best education.
