when i had my el it was roughly the same issue but mine was at high revs (4000 - 5.500) it was a dog but when i changed gears it would pick up. i did the same as u and done everything the i had a punt and bought a second hand cat it fixed the problem up

i have a brand new cat here so when i put that in ill see what difference it makes
