Hi guys

My mums car died on the way from work, she was sitting at the lights and it just turned off, no luck kicking it over, so we got it towed home. The problems seems to be no spark. We could the problem be that causes the no spark?By the way, its an EL series 1

thanks guys, any help would be appreciated

I'd be checking the coil out... any way you can grab a replacement temporarily to try out?

Could be coil, TFI unit or hall effect in the dizzy.

They are the most common causes of stop dead in traffic and no spark.

Just a matter of trying to source some that you can borrow for testing.

Yep. Intake side, upper half of the block just rear of the mount.

Also check the coil lead. Had them fail/break before.
