I have a Fg Xr6 N/a 6 Speed Manual with Hyclones, Cold air, Extractors and 2 and half catback, Stage 4 atomic cams underive pully valves springs been done irduim spark plugs and flash tune. came to 292 rwhp. Is that about right? ive seen some other with less work than mine and have more hp? Oh and 17lt per 100 with tune? a bit extreme and only a little squirt here and there?

First of all, take it down the 1/4 mile see what it runs. Much better indication of power than a dyno, as they all read differently and the differences can be pretty big.

Second of all, hyclones from what i can see are just like ebay 12v superchargers and 13hp resistor chips. If they were that fantastic dont you reckon car manufacturers would put them in from the factory?

Third, fat cams are inefficient. Or you have a dud tune. What sort of driving are you doing? short stop start hills? maybe thats it.

Lastly, buy a v8...

Why say buy a v8... Not everyone wants a v8.

yeah but real turbos and superchargers are fantastic.... car manufacturers dont put them into every car.

Extractors are also better, they increase efficiency if done right but car manufacturers don't put that on. If it's not cost effective, they won't put it on...that's why you get heavy cast iron exhaust manifolds, because they are cheaper, made much more quickly and work according to standards.

+1 not everyone wanting a V8.

a 3inch Exhaust might be a good option, and a hi flow cat if you don't have one all ready.

also the tune was it a custom job or a universal flash tune?
What brand Extractors do you have ?
