they are not really a performence adding item.

they are a high flow washable filter.

you will only notice a difference if your old filter was a big restriction.

Try a search, you'll find plenty. But there just a fancy expensive reusable filter. DOn't expect to notice a difference.

I don't regreat my purchase of it at all. But people seem to expect wonder out of a hi flow filter.

i wasnt expecting a massive increase, but the way i see it for what increase i did get the money could of been better spent on other mods

I just put one in my EL Fairmont with the addition of an EL GT air intake snorkel. Noticed a good increase in throttle response and power. Also got rid of an annoying flat spot my car had under full throttle between 60-80km/hr.

It helps if you have a fresh engine(under 100000km and a large airbox like the EF/EL). The EA-ED airboxes are quite small, therefore smaller K&N filter (smaller surface area and smaller gains).

Cheers Luke.

Yeah i reckon it was a good buy when i put mine in. I also got way better fuel consumption. Way better response up high to. Also it is re-useable so never have to rerplace I thgought it was a great buy.
