Hi guys, i have an EF Fairmont running gas and petrol. The car runs really good on gas but when i switch it to petrol it stops right away... I put it on petrol turned the ignition on and stuck my head in the boot and couldn't hear the fuel pump. I assume there is a fuel pump fuse, can anyone tell me where it is and any other suggestions what could be wrong?

Check your fuel pump relay.

Pull the fuel pump cover off and unplug it. Get a multimeter and shove the probes into the wires. Get someone to turn the keys to red and you should get 12v plus.

If no voltage your relay is stuffed. Replace relay.

If you get power then the pump is stuffed. Replace pump.
