but how the fk are you able to slide them off? lol
i just couldnt figure it out.
i did only have a crack for 5 min or so, but yeah just couldnt get it!

By the way - When my old engine (donkity donk) started tapping away I drove past my favourite workshop and they kind of nicely suggested that it was getting out of the cost to benefit ratio and ask how much the car was worth.

Cost of actual repair --- $0.

Mind you, if I was running a garage, I'd be expecting to be paid for my labours, and at about three hours with a bit of luck on side (having extra lifters for a start) I'd be wanting a few hundred dollars at least.

These cars are worth a whole heap more than that, so you may as well start pulling lifters out yourself.........
