Are the battery terminals in good condition and are all the Earth wires re earthed?

If not does it have smart lock (I know it's an EA but not sure if you changed anything else over). You may need to bypass it.

How about the auto? 3 speed or 4 speed?

may need to do a resistor trick if you have a 3 speed or manual.

Sorry just taking possible stabs here.

Have you checked the ignition relay or maybe your ignition barrel. How is the charge on the battery?

Currently at work, so I can't think of a list of things that might happen...if something pops up i'll keep posting :D.

Double check the wires to the starter?? try shorting out the starter with a scewdriver (with car in neutral) to see if there is any kick. If not try a test light to see if you have power at the main lead at the starter, if you have, then get someone to turn the key while you check for power at the starter trigger/soleniod wire.

fixed... had wrong wire onto starter motor.... but anyways which pin does the thermo fans go into on the EL ECU... i tried both pin 33 and 53 but none activated the thermo's....hooked them up properly coz tested using the relays straight to battery and they turned on.... its earthed properly as well.... not sure which pin triggers the relay...???

Good to hear you got it sorted...it's the little mistakes that cause a lot of havoc lol. I found that out the hard way all the time.

Sorry can't help you with the Thermos though...I'm sure someone else can.

i know itse little mistakes that really annoy u but at least its easy fixed... yeah im not sure on the trigger wire...when i power the relays straight from the battery the fans tecu urn on... but when the fans are connected to the (pin 33) the fans dont come on... even at operating temperature which i think is about 100 degrees.. i know its running at 100 degrees coz the temp sensor is reading a 0.5V which from wat i understand is 100... just neeed to kn how the thermo's are triggered... which wire which pin really...???

hi
pin 53 is to trigger both fans on low.
and pin 33 is to trigger the relay for fans on high..(possibly for when aircon is triggered) or engine temp reaches 100+ deg
but i had issues with pin 33 no trigger.. so the fans would only come on low and they would not go to high when the aircon was turned on or the temperature was high..

but if your going to run the fans on full speed pin 53 should trigger the fans when the temp gets between 1/4 and 1/2..

but if you have working aircon you need to have a trigger to switch the fans on or you will cook your air con..you can test pin 33 and see if it triggers when the aircon is switched on. or you can add a seperate relay to overide the ecu trigger so when your aircon is on the fans are also on...

this is the diagram i used when i tried to hook mine up..
but in the end i just used a davis craig thermal switch to trigger the fans instead..
