hey
the said object is bolted to the side of the block just under the starter motor it has a heater line oing in and out of it and also has a auto trans line going in and out of it...this is before the cooler or maybe after..is like a medium silver rectangle box shape...i've looked in the gregorys manual and cant find it..also i would search but i dnt know the name of it...anyone with a bf know wat it is? |

as a guess i would say it is a transmission cooler

it's the trans cooler. they did away with the tank inside the radiator tank idea. probably after they had so many issues with the BA ones splitting

It's a heat exchanger more-so than a cooler for the auto. I've been told they don't last forever either.

and keeps it there.... so long as your cooling system is operating efficiently.

well wen i pulled the engine out it was leaking so yea not using it
