10kw for the fuel change, could it apply to an older car or does the computer need an adapting programme inbuilt, like the newer cars

im not to sure how it works, but think they constantly try to lean the mixture out just before it pings or does ping then it will adjust to suit. But yeah someone else will know how it works.

Higher octane fuel doesn't mean it has more energy, it just means it can resist detonation better. So if you have an ECU that can adjust the ignition timing for more advance, the car can gain more performance. Or you can adjust the distributor on older cars.

I've been filling up with Shell 100 for years. Just call up on the radio and the fuel truck comes over and fills it up for you :mrgreen:

I though those lawmower enigne powered planes only run on 2 stroke.

well i have a bf 6t and i notice the difference between the e10 to 98 ron the e10 seems to get chewed more and less power but makes the car run hotter i only used it twice but now i only stick with 98
