Has any one seen the new 100p octane fuel? Does any one use it?

probably just an ethanol benzine mix. thats what they usually do in the dodgy ones. But enough benzine in anything will increase teh octane

Trav4.0 has tuned his EB for it. You'll have to wait for his comments. But he has E85 blended with it too.

Just about to post that.

I ran the "Shell V-Power Racing" one once. Did s**t all difference really...could have cleaned the internals of my car, but I don't see any performance gain from 98RON. Only ran it because I accidentally picked it up and filled my car up without reading it properly. They should really change the colour of the handle...also cost me an extra 10 bucks or something.

Yeah i got a tank full from Ferntree Gully Shell, I couldn't tell any difference. Might be able to tell with the newer cars though.

Newer cars? i would have thought older ones would have more to gain.
So power from 91-98 pure fuel is real?? and economy enhanced?

the newer cars should work better because there ECU's can adjust to suit the fuel you put in. Its like Holden with there V8's they rate there cars with 98 RON, but if you put the 91 RON they have less power then rated

yeah its numbers game i think. If you look at the latest FG falcon with 195kw and 391nm, but if you put 98 RON in the engine is rated with 205kw and 420nm.
