Hi all

Havnt got time to search, so can someone tell me how many litres a 6 will take with the filter.

car is an EF

try 4.5 and work from there till its at the right level

yep 5, we put 5ltrs into all the falcons that get oil changes at work.

oil capacity is 5.5L. with filter. depending on how much comes out determines how much you put in. most only put 5 back in as prolly still half a litre in sump and around engine. i always buy 6 litres and nearly always end up having to open the litre bottle. i let mine drain for quite a while though. normally pull the plug and then go and do other things. obviously in the workplace you can't afford to let a car drain for half an hour or so.
