Hi all,
I just bought a catch can from ebay and the theory isn't difficult, (ie cut the host between PCV and intake and run them to the catch can) but the bits that come with it don't seem to lend themselves to that. It has two hose adaptors, but one is blocked.. This is the one I won here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300215041940&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=020 I have no doubt I can install it without problem, but is possible I'm missing something so I wanted to ask if anyone else has one of these and what did you do to install it? rgds Frank |

well, I put it in.. no idea if it is right or not.. but looks good. I noticed that there was no gaskets between the body of the catch can and the pipe connectors, so took the connectors off and gave them a silicon gasket.
I just noticed I have no blowback at all when the engine is idling.. can't feel a thing above the cap.. anyone else get that? starting to wonder if I have a leak somewhere. |

post a pic of what you have done. if one of the adaptors is blocked and you need it open then simply drill it out.

I'll take a photo tomorrow...
I didn't use their adapters as they were the wrong size, blocked or not... I fould a couple of adapters from my compressor and they worked just fine. |
