No, as has been said it will not matter! And if your car did already have an oil pressure gauge stock, why would you be wanting another? It makes no difference, as has been said above even if it had an oil pressure gauge from factory you would not use the factory sensor on an aftermarket gauge. Personalyl I think your better off upgrading to a mid series cluster (read the technical documents for more info). Alternatively if you wanna stick with the aftermarket gauge there easy to hook up, need a power wire, the positive wire from the dash lights (so the gauge lights up at the same time), and then your earth wire runs to the sensor. The sensor you mount using a t-peice (try somewhere like Enzed for them, you'll need to take in a factory sensor or sender unit so they can get the thread type of that, and your aftermarket unit) in the stock location. Pretty simple, but it's a bugger to get there to thread in the sensor. And get an electric oil pressure gauge, not mechanical, as you do not want a line with the oil running through into your cabin, it's illegal too. |

you have a oil pressure switch under the inlet manifold, you take it out put a three way piece in,the sender in the kit goes on the side and pressure switch goes on top.then run two wires from sender to inside cabin and to the gauge and then wire up the rest of the gauge, mine's a futura no oil or battery gauges aswell,i'll send you a full step by step pm tomorrow.Hey nice to see another venom car,I also have the kit not xr.
