I had an oil leak fixed a couple of weeks ago it was the timing chain cover but since then it has shown that there is a massive oil leak at the back of the engine im thinking rear main seal or the back of the head is there any other posibilities

hmm, the oil pressure switches are a pretty common cause for leaking oil. mine was doing it and the oil had managed to run down the whole underside of the car, so it looked like it was leaking from the diff!

Hmmm, that's the best way to describe all the oil on the bottom of my car, maybe that's my problem too, God willing.

Best to give it a good clean and then keep a close eye on it.
If it's def a rear leak then it could be rocker cover, rear main or sump. I remember doing a job for LowEL (Used to be LowNA), he brought it up and said it's leaking rear main, we pulled the box out and it turned out to be the rocker cover leaking at the back. It wasn't a waste of time though as it had a broken pressure plate bolt. |
