heloo fordmodders i am in desperate need of your help i have a oil leakj i cant trace down droping oil from sump area (sump plug is tight) my dad tells me he thinks it is coming from near the wishbone behind the water pump any help is greatly appreciated

had a good look myself found it was leakjing from oil pressure sender is this coomon?

I wouldn't say common, but I've had it happen to me.
A common one is the timing chain tensioner plug or the timing cover gasket, which IS in the area of the water pump (directly above the water inlet on the water pump). If it were that there would be oil all over the alternator, p/steering pump and drive belt, makes one hell of a mess and is a real P.I.T.A. to get at.
