Liz This common on duel fuel cars that may not have had regular running on petrol. If the injectors are not being used they foul up, giving a poor spray pattern or not spraying much at all. To fix this the best way is to remove the injectors and have them professionally cleaned. Cost is around $20ea

i can't believe how many people are righting it off as 'just a wiring problem'
YOUR OIL LIGHT IS COMMING ON put a known good gauge on it and check it. you would be a fool not to. might cost you a few dollars and chances are it will be ok. but if it's not you f**k your engine you'll be pretty p****d off about being a tight a*** |

settle down, no need to lose oil pressure over it!
im just saying it COULD be VARIOUS things. i had an xf, the oil light came on all the time, we hooked a gauge up to it, and it never dropped down low. i re-wired it, got a new sender, and that fixed the problem. i totally agree with you about the light coming on, if my engine or oil lgiht came on, i'd switch it off right away.

BUT every one just went straight to saying don't worry it'll just be wiring. and that is the wrong way to do things. |

it isnt the wrong thing, you check it all out at once and do the job properly.
the wiring in many of my known cases has been the fault.
