Has anyone pulled apart the oil pressure sensor on a 2001 AU falcon 6cly.
I've swapped the instrument cluster out for an XR one. With the old sender in, the light went out and gauge came up to half. With the new sensor in the light stays and the gauge hasn't moved.
While installing the new sensor the plastic shield came off in my hand. There are two metal tangs, one touches the top of the cap where the wire attaches. the other tang sits in mid air.
I'm wondering if I've bent one of the tangs.
Any help would be great.
