Hey ive had this problem goin on for awhile now, but seems to being doing even weirder things then im used to...

Towards the end of last year i made a post about my oil pressure spiking, while driving oil pressure is fine, up the top end of the needle but apart from that its relatively normal (only had the high pressure alarm come on once).

After not worrying about that for a good 12 months or so now its doing even scarier things...
Now while driving the oil pressure is a little lower then usual, and when i come to a stop the pressure drops to almost 0PSI... which for a car that is running, IS NOT GOOD...
Its even worse for the car when im drop the gear and climb down thru 5000rpm to stop at a set of lights and i look up to see the oil pressure is a p***y hair off 0psi @ 3000rpm'ish...


Im hoping its just a bunged pressure sensor but im not too sure what im looking for or how to fix it... any ideas ???

The oil level is fine ive checked and re-checked it numerous times since i started getting worried and its level, if anything probly too much oil...

sounds like the sensor? has it been doing any other strange things?

if its been like that for 12 months i wouldn't be real conserned or she woulda blew by now.

seems like its getting closer to somethin happening tho, the oil pressure registers almost 0psi when stopped and almost max PSI when driving its weird...

got enough oil in it? i spose so

i'd swap the sensor out first. does it rev real hard or make funny noises? i'd be concerned if it was, but like i said, 12 months? you've ether done 12 months damage or had a faulty sensor all that time

get a mechanical guage on it to check

if thats says all good sender is fooked
