hi all, ever since i have owned my car i have noticed my standard oil gauge at times reads high, like off the gauge high, most of the time its around 3/4, been told au oil gauge has been know to be faulty and can be reset, has anyone got same prob or any info.

This problem is usually caused by a poor earth connection on the engine.

Don't know about reseting the gauge.

yer ahd this on my au

add a extra earth to the power steering pump

ie runa 5mm wire from pump to the -ve battery terminal
