does anyone have any pics or can help me understand how the oil pump connects to the crank shaft?
my oil pump won't pump my up oil over my lashes anymore...i'm pretty certain it's my oil pump thats spat the dummy and a mechanic will charge me big time to even find out so need some advice please do I need to pull the engine up or can I drop the K frame? Ben |

u can do either the oil pump connects to the timing cog not the crank ie (ea, eb ed, el it connects to the dizzy) the ef's and au's it connects to the crank angle sensor i believe

the oil pump is driven by the dizzy, on EF and AU it's a sync sensor but it's still driven the same way.
you can take the dizzy out and turn the pump with a drill do see if it's working |
