You live in the coldest place in NSW. Amazing that it can be 14 degrees most times and gilgandra, dubbo, parkes can be 23

Have used optimax 98 before during a trip back from FPV day this year and after 700km's, I noticed an improvement over the BP 98
However I have heard from people here and other forums that that fuel can be very inconsistent with some batches being dirty

Will try the 100 when I head to VIC on dec 26 and 27 for speedway
I've been thinking about buying a 200litre drum of VP racing fuels motorsport 103 (a street legal fuel)

G'day again,

I too just filled up at 1.21 today (it's getting Cheaper!)

I filled up with a mate who drive a Monaro, and I agree, it's a dog that it's only available at some servo's, we drove over to deer park to get it!

We then took a 4hr trip into the middle of nowhere, and he noticed no real difference at all in his car! ... <shrug> ...

I agree 100% with Aurora98, I fully expect the fuel to be inconsistant, which I know traditional Optimax has been. That was our primary reason for switching to BP Ultimate. None the less, whilst it's good, I'm pretty happy with it. Long term, I'll probably alternate between extreme and ultimate whatever is closest when I need gas.

Thanks mate, It's not often people agree with me but good when they do
It may take three tank fulls to let the ECU get used to it and adapt before you notice any real improvement.
