its an auto, 98 EL falcon, everytime i accelerate and turn to the right, like at the lights or just make a right hand turn, the car sometimes revs and no power is going to the wheel

it sounds like your low on transmision fluid.
if your has a dip stick check it when hot in park with the engine running and just put some auto trans fluid in.
if yours doesnt have a dip stick you will need to take it and get it serviced

unless its got a retro fitted old box it won't have a dipstick.

yeah sounds like low fluid,if you top it up yourself make sure you use tq95 or its equal.

in your case i would say your fuel pump is about to s**t itself. or the pick up in the tank is broken or something
