i have an EbII 4.0l auto and i need to know what the voltage range of the oxygen sensor is. if it isnt 0-1volt, what cars have a 0-1 volt oxygen sensor as standard

It is 0-1 volt. although in reality you might see 0.1 to 0.8 volts maximum swing

If you're looking at fitting an Auto Meter Air Fuel Ratio gauge, make sure you use a 0-1v Oxygen Sensor.
Unforunately it's not as easy as saying that all single wire units are 0-1 or that three wire units are 0-5. Rocket have a variety of 0-1v Oxygen Sensors. www.rocketind.com |

i have had this same auto meter air/ fuel guage installed previously in an EF futura and it worked. how can i get the guage working with the current 3 wire o2 sensor

i'd say, to be sure, get your multimeter and test from the battery negative to each wire on the oxy sensor and one will read 0 (thats the negative), one will read 12.8ish (12V) and the last will read somewhere in the 0-1V range (when the ingnition is turned on) and thats the signal wire. and my O2 sensor in my EBII read 0.9V pretty much all the time except when engine braking, then i can get it down to 0.4V  ....i'm pretty sure its stuffed

Would i be possible to add a second wideband O2 sensor and hook that up to a guage? (while leaving the narrow band hooked up to the motor as is. I mean)

Wideband O2 sensors require a controller as well. check out www.wbo2.com or innovate motorsports. But yes you can have both fitted to your car.
