Just a question. i have heard that p-plates can have turbo cars only if they are factory turbo? i am under the new laws as i got my l's early july last year. is this true? or do i have to have a non-turbo car? im fine with a non-turbo just wondering is all..

i'm pretty sure, power to weight still applies, but now, no turbo's (stock or after market) and no v8's.

you will be under the no modifications law.
you can't have any work done to your engine at all.

as for stock turbos, im guessing that if youre aloud itd still have to be under power to weight ratio.

yeh the new laws are s**t.
theres even romours goin around that they want to add almost another year for when u can apply for your p's and@!@@ they wna make it so you can only drive a 4 cylinder while on them!

as for turbos and supercharges you can drive smart cars and diesle's with either a turbo or supercharger but no other modifications can be done to the factory set up

im un sure about the factory turbo eg. xr6t
possibly a loop whole???

They were p!ss weak in std form.

Yep thats right no turbo at all other than deisel or smart car
