i have recently put on new extractors (advanced) on my eb falcon. the extractors are good but the paint is flaking off. could some one give me some advice on painting or coating them. can powder coating handle the exhaust temps. i have recently had my rocker cover powder coated and it looks great.

I painted my extractors in matt black exhaust paint, it was about $18 for the can and came out a treat, hasn't come off yet either :D

yeah mate, i just used some vht extractor paint from repco, 15 odd dollars and been on for over a year, looks the same as the day i put it on, but will make your car smell for the first couple of drives as it bakes itself on.

dont powder coat them, its only good for 80-90 deg and will soften and go tacky at high temps.

get them ceramic coated or paint them...
