can i put a performance chip in my ef futura as i need a bit more power. has anyone got any idea about this. it already has extractors and a 2.5 inch exhaust

if its a first mod, then i wouldn't bother - go for cam/intake/exhaust/extractors first!

definatly do all the bolt on mods first then get a chip to maximise the gains....

u could get a power chip.. but apparantly they arent good wen u really start modifying like cam, head etc

get the chip last, first get your car lowered, then get the intake (snorkel, pod/panel filter, piping) then get a cam, injectors and then go for your chip......unless your going to do a forced induction setup then i'd say do some mild work to your engine first, anyway the way i see it is the chip goes in last, sorta like dessert, that way you can tune your chip to all your mods rather then getting the chip and having to go and re tune it every time you do or add something to your car.
