1999 AU XR6, series 1 133,000 kms 4.0 I6, Manual PERFORMANCE: 6.0 secs 0-100 km/h (rough calculation) 14.68 @ 94.63mph PERFORMANCE MODS: 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, hif-flo cat, Hurricane Headers, Unichip (and by the end of the day a dead clutch lol). A turbo, manifold, intercooler and associated parts are collecting in my spare room as we speak. Hopefully it won't be too far away before it's all installed. |

5spd conversion.. heavy duty clutch.. 10mm top gun ignition leeds.. xr snorkrl.. 3inch cold air intake tube into stock cold air box.. k&n flat panel air filter.. vernier adlusable cam gear.. stage 2 crow cam..(soon stage 3 alted  )
EF xr6 ecu.. unichip.. installed and tuned at autotech granville sydney by "spiro" extractors.. 2.5inch zorst.. oversized throttlebody.. (overkill i know so dnt flame me! )
3inch mandrel bent intake tubing.. port polish n brass valve guides.. done at racetech liverpool.. performance... Eastern creek.. pb of 14.67 seconds.. pb of 94.05 mph.. pb of 60 foot- 2.045 seconds.. a 2 flat basically! and thats on a 3.08! on its last legs!! single spinner! dynoed at crescent motorsport..140.05rwks.. dynoed at autotech granville..145 rwkws.. (after unichip installed) |

hey mines not a ford but its still a 6.. sorry if its not welcome but i just find it interesting what other 6's of other models can do.
1999 TH manual magna CAI Flowed TB cat back zorst dyno'd at 130.4 kw's atw's am in the stage of.. 70mm TB ( 5mm bigger than standard) pacemaker extractors Ralliart cams, ( they aint much only considered stage .5) these would be in right now but gotta get the car off defect first
thatshgould hopfully get me to 140- 145 atws 1/4 id expect 14.9-14.6 as its what other reasonably syandard mnanual magnas are doing

That's some decent power from the Magna there bud. Is she the 3.5? Nice to see what sort of power the Magna blokes are punching out. I've had mine on the dyno and she puched out a healthy 149rwk. She's an EF XR6 5 speed, so I'm guessing she'd pull a 14.5 second quarter???

3.5L near stock, what u gotta remember with the magnas are they r FWD so they will nexer have a good launch,
a mates magna has 180atws and he got a 14flat yet rolling run with low 13second cars and he is side by side or infront ... damn FWD

'93 ED Fairmont 4l 6 cylinder, dual fuel 3.45LSD X-Force Extractors Redback 2.5" exhaust (leaking at time of 1/4 run I now know) 15" 205/65 stockies on for 1/4 Whiteline Low suspension kit (springs, shocks, bars) One 17.9 @ 79mph Low 18's at similar trap speed for the rest of the day 312,000kms, no rebuilds IT's Stage 3PS on the cards at the moment.. So, is that fast enough for ya?
