what performance mods are there for an N/A 6 without going forced induction?

What size exhaust is ideal, how many mufflers? we were thinking of pacemaker extractors and 2.5" cat back exhaust with a high flow cat, is that a ideal setup?

the ute already has a big mouth induction and K&N panel filter. Also its a manual(if that changes anything)

are there any cams that suit the B series?


we are just after some decent power gains nothing really over the top like nos or a turbo just want to keep it N/A for now.

How much do you want to spend...?

Exhaust wise, Hi-flow cat with 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel and one muffler sounds nice if you've got Pacemaker 4490's.

Cams, well they will cost you like $1000, up to $1500 if you get upgraded valve springs. Atomic make good cams, and supply the valve springs. You WILL need to tune the cams in though, otherwise car will run like a pig. Not too much you can do N/A without it costing you $$

we dont want to spend a whole lot, but depends on how much we can for things here( live in perth)
