they go under the intake manifold just liek the e series falcons
well the 6's are the same it is when it goes into teh cabin were i would pressume it is diff whats up?

ohh forgot to tell u
there is a drain plug on the passenger side of the rad at the bottom i dont use it as it drains too slow! might be easier if u remove the black stone tray as well

dont worry about it, like i said it sux use the bottom heater hose so much easier
then u can stick the water hose inside the heater hose and doa reverse flush

ok
the heater hose is connected to the bottom of the thermostat housing!!!! so when u take the top off the housing and remove the thermostat there is a pipe the leads to unbder the intake manifiold the heater hose

Now I am understanding! :-) hehe
According to the 'service and repair manual' the thermostat gasket should be replaced whenever the thermostat is removed. Is this a precautionary measure or must it be done? I assume the gasket is only a few dollars so I had might as well replace it anyway. |

yet to leak Ha ha l posted a thread on this a few weeks back as l removed the thermastat and didnt have a gasket so l used clear silicon instead. I was concerned it would leak but now it is 100 times better than the crappy paper gasket that had a small leak before.
