SLYEL - you got pics of your 15's with the lows?If i get the AU Series 2's i'd look at the lows or maybe pedders custom lowering. EL_Fairmont even if mudflaps removed the car looks better but if you got dirt roads and maybe keep them on

blah bs.. i have 18s and sydney roads are rougher then country dirt roads!

for $1200 u can get 17s quite easily these days! with least 8" wide too .. 225's very thin for a bigger rim tho![/quote]

I agree. I got 17's and never had a problem with all the rough roads and paddocks that my work takes me. Piss poor excuse for an empty wallet. Wheels look good though and even better when you lower it ( sooner rather than later) My 17's have only got 225's but they are wider than the 235's that were on my car. :?

Nice. I reckon you should of steped up to 17" though. Sounds like a afair price. Glad to hear your happy.

17'' rims are good when you got nice roads, but around the central qld area 16'' are the most i would go the huge pot holes will distroy your car and wheels.

EL_Fairmont, thoes wheels are lookin good tho i recon you could have got more then $190 for your old wheels.
Bah. I was up in Mackay in April. f**k I wish our roads were as "s**t" as the ones I saw up there.

Yeah just click on to my page link underneath my Siggy :D
Ummm.... Seton 005 I dont know about that because driving on some QLD Roads ....I mean...Goat tracks I am forever always swerving to avoid deep pot holes. s**t I even had a bad one in Downtown Brisbane one day that felt like the Shocker had gone thru to the Engine bay. If I was riding on 17" when I went over that pot-hole they would of been 17" Squares instead of Wheels and not to mention the tyre would of been punctured for sure

roads round mackay are ok wait till you come between middlemount and tieri, hundreds of cars and trucks go through that road every day trucks that carry heavy mining equipment and destroy roads that never get upgraded. i could of spent 2k on a set of nicer lower profile wheels but after smashing my previous mags on the road i didnt see much purpose on spending money on something that is probly gonna get wrecked again.
