17'' rims are good when you got nice roads, but around the central qld area 16'' are the most i would go the huge pot holes will distroy your car and wheels.

EL_Fairmont, thoes wheels are lookin good tho i recon you could have got more then $190 for your old wheels.

Only 2 tyres were in roadworthy condition, the other 2 were stuffed. One rim had a big gutter scratch. Got done at Mackay Tyrepower in Shakespeare St.

Yeah there is no way i will lower my car, i live at middlemount too and the roads out here a shocking. Especially north up the beef road and west towards emerald.

Cheers Luke.

i got my hollowtype R mags from Quickfit in mackay they where the cheapest at $160 a mag

i wouldn't doubt if the tyre place will try and sell your old wheels for over $400

bob jane in rocky was tryin to sell me a second hand set of 16" Csa or something like that with all bald tyres and severe gutterash on all rims for $1000. i told him where to go!

I paid $167 for each rim. I couldn't be stuffed bringing the 4 rims and tyres back to middlemount so i just took the trade. I'm happy with $190, s**t i thought I'd be lucky to get $100 for those grandpa rims..............

Cheers Luke.

blah bs.. i have 18s and sydney roads are rougher then country dirt roads!

for $1200 u can get 17s quite easily these days! with least 8" wide too .. 225's very thin for a bigger rim tho!

car is under 3year and 3 month warranty from Mackay Toyota Hypermarket. I haven't got around to removing the sticker because everytime you get the 6 month service they put another sticker in the same spot. The licence plate surronds look ok, can't be bothered going to supercheap and getting a generic set.

Cheers Luke.

Not a bad set of wheels. They are a generic type of rim. So small cars yeah prob would fit 'em. I myself probably would of gone 17s. But hey mate, enjoy them. It's another mod!
