a damper will limit the distance the engine will move in a short burst, the engine mounts will cope with the rest
its the short, sharp jerks that f**k engine mounts (as well as one good hard steady pull on them, but its not often a stock engine has the grunt to do that)

If you jerk on the throttle repetitively you will break your mounts. even with a stock engine.

clutch cable goes out over the steering arm and depending on the length can come back under it then go under the engine or stay ontop and curl under the engine, mine runs down the drivers side of the engine bay then under the engine.

There are 2 types of engine mounts u can get... the best one of both is the rubber ones....they are harder to snap...the nolothayne are the worst...and snap easily...

Nolathane are much harder but they are very brittle. Anything more than a decent cam in your engine and they will just crumble after a few laps around the block.
