So i have BF XR6 6 speed auto that is not shifting out of 3rd and 5th gears automatically. Everyplace that i have asked so far says that ford do not release the tools to fix this gearbox so i have to take it to a ford dealer to get it fixed. I dont want to pay a fortune getting it fixed at ford. Does anyone know anywhere in melbourne that could help me out?

kewish automatics i think its called, they are in the same street as HP-F in Dandenong from memory. Preston autos may do it, or even try Bayswater autos.

when my brother thought he broke his 6 speed auto in his bf. it was his tail shaft anyway but we got told from fuild drive in geelong that the 6 speeds get sent away back upto sydney somewhere and thats where they get fix
