Car is a 1997 EL Fairmont. My coil died the other day at the worst time and I can't for the life of me remove the old one, so I figured I could just relocate the new one and forget the old one is even there. Where is a good place to mount the new one and what would be the best way of doing so?
Also, if anyone has a guide for removing/installing an ignition module, that'd be extremely helpful (some people don't know what I mean by 'ign. module'. It's the thing at the bottom of the dizzy.)

a good spot is on the top a/c compressor bolt, easy access and the coil lead still reaches the dizzy.
only thing you need to do is extend power wires to the coil |

What Troy said is what we did with our EL Street Stock. Very good.

Hi,
The location looks good, I would also mount a 2nd on as a spare. Swap the power and HT leads over in less than a minute. No tools required. The angle it sits is something I would consider. I think it would be better with the bolt holes at the bottom, as all weight will come down an the mounting points. They show cracks when they fail, and from the Pic I cant see if it sits on a rubber block. Air flow over it would be better with more surface area exposed. IMO I have heard that some US owners move the Ignition module from the Dizzy to a cooler place. Same thing here, I would mount 2 on the inner guard on a heatsink and have a single plug to change.
