It is not working mate.
I suspect the AC compressor.
Does anybody know how to check the AC compressor and clutch ?

Cheers,panmahi

AC compressor/clutch won't stop car from starting .... do as grumps said & thump dash above handbrake.

Thanks Mad2.

I thought BCM is on the dash board near steering. I hit there.
Could you please tell me exact place where I need to bang ?

Hi Guys,

I found the location on BCM. I hit on the dash board on left side of the steering, down near the left knee level. But still no luck. Still engine is same.

I found a new observation on the dash board. When the start effort is made and engine is cranking, two warning lights come on the dash. They are,
1. Smart lock flashes.
2. Braking system failure appears (just below the park brake on light)

They disappears when the key is back on "on" position.

I hope you guys have some idea the meaning of these warning.

Cheers, panmahi

If Smartlock light flashes while trying to start, you have BCM issues (Smartlock).

Thanks guys. I have the repair manual, 420 pages. But it doesn't contain the diagnostic chart Mad2 given.

The update of the problem :
The smart light indication was eliminated. The 30A Eng fuse had gone during my work. I don't know how it is gone. Smart lock light is gone after replace the fuse. But still not starting.

The AC clutch found engaged when the key is on, even before the start. But I think it would not be a problem to start the engine.

Cheers, panmahi

Wind down the Drivers window.

Turn all accesories off ie: radio.

Close the door and turn the ignition to "Reds".

Wait for 30 to 60min.

Door locks will cycle.

Turn ignition off.

Start the car.

Thanks SWC.

That test also done. I was not waiting near the Car. Left more than 1 hr and then off and started again.
Not working. No response.

I checked again ECU for error codes. No errors.

Cheers,
panmahi
