hey friends went to go and pick my car up from the dyno shop and the core plug blow out of the side of the block ( the intake side of all ) F#^K ME. speakin the the guys at T&G Greene and he said that the BRAND new high flow cat was blocked iswell. i have BA XR6 injects in and a adjustable fuel reg he said maybe the cat was blocked from the exta fuel runnin though it and just seein if anyone else has had prolbems with the high flow cat or heard some thing the same? any help or advice would be greatfully thanks

how old is your "brand new" cat?
is the car tuned? if youve been running ba injectors and a rising rate reg without a tune, then the fuel could have destroyed the cat... however cats are made to last atleast 10 years so it seems strange... |

By core plug are you refering to welch plugs? 2. Why did you fit the injectors and fuel reg? 3. What sort of core does the 'hi flow cat' have? Metal or ceramic? I have had a ceramic hiflow cat fuse due to over fueling issues. You'll always get the wowsers saying you shouldn't make them flow better by removing the "restriction" because of the fines and such that are associated, but do what you have to
